BEERCYCLING ANNOUNCES THE "OREGON BEERWAY" TOUR


PORTLAND, OR – Fresh off their 6th year “Getting you from Pint A to Pint B” around Europe, Portland-based Beercycling is proud to announce an expansion into the US. The new Oregon Beerway tour will kick off in May 2017, featuring 5-days and 4-nights cycling between Portland and Hood River. Riders will visit one or two breweries a day, stay at comfortable hotels adjacent to the breweries, and have the assistance of a support vehicle as they cycle along the historic Columbia River Gorge on some of the most scenic bike trails in the state. The tour is open to cyclists of all skill levels, with rides averaging around 24 miles a day. Registration includes bike rentals, hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, brewery tours, vehicle support during the tour, passenger shuttle from the end point back to Portland, and best of all lots of beer samples. The three 2017 tour departures will be led by Beercycling founder Evan Cohan.

2017 Dates: May 26th to 30th (Memorial Day), June 8th to 12th,
and September 1st to 5th (Labor Day)

Newport Mansions Season in Full Swing; New Tours, New Exhibition, and New Mobile App Unveiled


(Newport, RI) All ten historic houses museums of The Preservation Society of Newport County, Newport, Rhode Island, are now open daily for public tours, and visitors will be able to enjoy new audio tours of The Elms and Rosecliff, a new exhibition at Rosecliff, and a variety of special events ranging from the Newport Flower Show, to a children's party at Green Animals, to the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival.

Now operating daily are The Breakers, Chateau-sur-Mer, Chepstow, The Elms, Green Animals Topiary Garden, Hunter House, Isaac Bell House, Kingscote, Marble House and Rosecliff. All houses will remain open daily through Columbus Day, October 10, 2016 From October 11 to November 18, 2016, The Breakers, Chateau-sur-Mer, The Elms, Marble House and Rosecliff will be open daily. From November 19 to January 1, 2017, The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House and Rosecliff will remain open daily. The Breakers Stable & Carriage House will be open daily from June 25 to Labor Day, September 5, 2016.

Also now open at Rosecliff is the new exhibition, Splendor at Sea: The Golden Age of Steam Yachting in America, which highlights the luxurious private yachts of the era's industrial tycoons - floating palaces that were as richly furnished and elegant as their fabled mansions.
